Overview
Brainwriting is a type of brainstorming session where instead of talking, each participant will start to write a solution to a certain problem. Once a solution has been flashed out, participants will pass the sticky to the next participant, so each of them will be able to expand on the ideas they had put down. This process is repeated until everyone has contributed, at which point a facilitator will gather and display all of the stickies.
Quick Guide
- Define a problem or issue to solve
- Set a timer of about 5-10 minutes
- After every minute, each participant will hand over their sticky to the next colleague
- After each suggestion has been displayed, everyone will discuss it and decide which ones best suit user needs
