New privacy regulations have been passed by California to ban certain "dark patterns" as reported by The Verge.

The regulation document cites the use of this icon for opt-out displays:

"The following opt-out icon may be used in addition to posting the notice of right to opt- out, but not in lieu of any requirement to post the notice of right to opt-out or a Do Not Sell My Personal Information link as required by Civil Code section 1798.135 and these regulations."

California has not provided a high quality version of this asset that I am aware of so I created one hoping that we can maintain a high level of quality when displaying matters related to online privacy.
