Overview

A User flow is a method made to visualize the journey that the user is taking to complete a goal or a task with the product. We most notably create user flows pretty much every time we are iterating on a product or adding a new feature. It is a go-to method for us to collaborate with our team, which visually depicts a user's path through the product, from point A to point B.

Quick Guide

  1. Match flows to a user-story or a software perspective
  2. Define a starting point
  3. Add the different processes, users actions and inputs
  4. Define an end-point which could be a happy or unhappy path
